Introducing . . . Annie Antsy

When Annie Antsy wants something, she wants it – right now!

Like losing weight. And if she doesn't lose it fast enough, she gives up – just like that. I'm so sorry, Ms. Annie. Doesn't work like that. It took years to build up those layers. It takes time, lots of time, to get them off – oh, yeah, and keep them off. Minor detail – keeping fat away.

Sure, in the past, Annie dropped weight fast by starving and depriving. But . . . the minute that beast – hunger – took over (and it always does), or she just got sick of all the "can't haves," and rebelled, the fat came back to its favorite hang-outs. And in a hurry. Dang!

Annie Antsy may be fun to hang out with, in the beginning, but fun quickly turns into sour impatience and discontent.

For Annie Antsy, It's not good enough, or fast enough, to make perfectly reasonable forward progress in reasonable time – like 2.5 pounds a month.

Shoot - that's 30 pounds a year! And that's a whopping 60 pounds in two years. Get real, Annie.

Impatience and discontent make Annie give up, for the 20th or 50th or 500th time, instead of that slow, consistent loss of 2.5 pounds a month.

Suggestion: If you ever meet Annie Antsy face to face, smile sweetly, wave, and move on.

Ditch Annie Antsy – and right now!

And meet your new best friend – Patty Patience!

Patty Patience will cheer you on to be all that you were born to be – bright, beautiful, on-purpose, and in love with yourself and people and life itself – and above all else – patient and kind to yourself!
